About: Acrylic and oil paints are my favorite mediums to paint landscapes,
portraits and still life.

I enjoy seeking out the beauty in light and dark aspects of life
around me. I have a unique way of perceiving nature, and it fills me
with joy to help others find happiness in seeing the wonderful world
around them through my art.

Lena Ritchie is a modern impressionism artist who is focused on
landscape, portrait and still life paintings with acrylic and oil
mediums.

She was born in Kiev, Ukraine, a 4th generation family of artists. Art
surrounded her from the day she was born, and she attended an
independent impressionism art academy “Svitlo” for 10 years. At the
early age of twelve, she was successfully selling her own landscape
watercolor paintings. She participated in multiple group exhibitions
and live painting shows. Was awarded 1st place at a State High school
competition “Seven Colors of Rainbow”.

About: I see art in everything around me and I have always had an insatiable curiosity and a stubborn drive in life. My art has taken many forms and mediums thru the years. I didn’t know I was a painter until my business partner and I were asked to paint a local mural 4 years ago. I always say yes to things that I know will help me grow. So that night we picked up our paintbrushes to start the mural. My painting partner went home tired after a point. I kept painting late into the night on the Five Points intersection in Fort Wayne. I couldn’t stop painting! That’s the night I discovered I was a painter. I have learned to call myself an artist after a few years. Sometimes your passions find you. Both of my parents were professional artists. My son has also fallen in love with art. It’s something that’s just a part of you I think. The mediums I use change thru the years. I am currently working in Acrylic and Oil paints.
