Event: HeART in the Park 2026
Dates: July 11–12, 2026 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Location: Freimann Square, Fort Wayne, IN
Deadline for Artist Applications: May 1, 2026
Payment Deadline to Secure Spot: May 31, 2026

This agreement (“Agreement”) is made between HeART in the Park Organizers (“Organizers”) and the undersigned artist (“Artist”) for participation in HeART in the Park 2026, a family-friendly, public art event. By signing this agreement, the Artist agrees to the following terms:


1. Participation Requirements

  1. Artist must provide examples of their artwork as part of the application process. Examples may include:
    • Email submission of images or portfolio
    • Shared website links
    • Social media links showcasing their work
  2. Only original artwork created by the Artist is allowed. AI-generated art is strictly prohibited.
  3. Artist agrees to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during the event.

2. Booth, Display, and Equipment

  1. Artists are responsible for providing their own display materials, including:
    • Tables
    • Chairs
    • Tents or shade structures
    • Overnight protection for artwork and equipment
  2. Booth spaces are either 10×10 feet or 10×20 feet, assigned by Organizers based on application and payment received.
  3. Artists must remain within their allocated area and may not obstruct pathways or impede the flow of attendees.
  4. Overnight security will be provided by the Organizers, but artists remain responsible for the safety of their own equipment and artwork.

3. Payment

  1. Payment is required to secure an assigned booth.
  2. Full payment must be received by May 31, 2026.
  3. Failure to submit payment by this date may result in forfeiture of the assigned booth.

4. Conduct and Professionalism

  1. The Artist will maintain a professional and family-friendly demeanor at all times.
  2. Offensive, disruptive, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
  3. Organizers reserve the right to remove any Artist from the event for misconduct without refund or compensation.

5. Event Rules

  1. All artwork must be suitable for a family-friendly audience.
  2. Artists are responsible for the security of their own artwork and belongings, despite overnight security.
  3. Artists may not sell prohibited items or promote non-art-related commercial services without prior approval.

6. Liability

  1. The Organizers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to artwork or personal property.
  2. Artists participate at their own risk. Liability insurance is recommended but not required.

7. Photography and Promotion

  1. Organizers may photograph or record the event for promotional purposes.
  2. Artists grant permission for their artwork and likeness to be used in promotional materials without compensation.

8. Agreement Termination

  1. Organizers may terminate this agreement and remove the Artist for failure to comply with the terms above, including:
    • Submission of AI-generated artwork
    • Misconduct or unprofessional behavior
    • Failure to provide artwork examples for review
    • Failure to submit payment by the May 31, 2026 deadline
  2. No refunds will be issued if an Artist is removed for cause.
